Ticketing Executive

Job Description:

  • Process and manage ticket bookings, cancellations, and amendments efficiently through the ticketing system.
  • Provide customers with accurate information regarding flight schedules, ticket prices, and travel policies.
  • Assist customers in selecting the best travel options based on their preferences and budget.
  • Ensure all ticketing operations comply with airline regulations and company policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to ticketing in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all bookings, cancellations, and customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with airlines and other travel partners to confirm bookings and secure the best available options.
  • Monitor and update the availability of flights and ticket pricing on various platforms.
  • Stay updated on the latest airline promotions, policies, and travel industry trends to provide customers with the best service.
  • Support the Ticketing Manager and other team members in meeting sales targets and operational goals.

Job Specification:

  • Proficient in soft skills.
  • Proficient in ticketing systems and reservation platforms. (Amadeus, Galileo).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple bookings and requests simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of airline regulations and travel industry practices.
  • Adequate proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least one year of experience in a ticketing or customer service role within the travel industry.
